At LOUPE Americas 2026, Konica Minolta is showcasing its latest developments in digital label production. The company is highlighting how automation, print quality, and workflow efficiency continue to reshape label manufacturing.
Building on more than 2,000 AccurioLabel installations worldwide, Konica Minolta has introduced the AccurioLabel 231 – the next evolution of its digital label platform. Designed to enhance automation, improve color consistency, and increase operational efficiency, the press features Intelligent Quality Optimizer technology, extended maintenance intervals, longer engine life, and expanded production flexibility. Further, Konica Minolta is sharing the milestone achievement of 2,000 worldwide AccurioPress installations, with added customer perspective.
“Building on the continued success of the platform, the AccurioLabel 231 reflects years of customer feedback and real-world production experience,” says Frank Mallozzi, president, Industrial and Production Print, Konica Minolta. “What we consistently hear from customers is the need to keep presses running, reduce operator intervention and maintain quality under demanding production conditions. The AccurioLabel 231 was designed to help them do exactly that while creating more opportunities for profitable growth.”
Positioned as an entry- to mid-production solution, the AccurioLabel 231 is designed to maximize productive press time. The new press extends maintenance intervals to twice those of the AccurioLabel 230 and nearly doubles its engine life, allowing production teams to spend more time printing and less time servicing equipment. Advanced automation and the introduction of Intelligent Quality Optimizer (IQ) technology help increase throughput, reduce waste and minimize production interruptions.
Konica Minolta’s IQ technology continuously monitors print performance and automatically corrects for variations that can occur during longer production runs. The result is consistent output with fewer manual adjustments, helping operators maintain quality while keeping production moving.
The press delivers production speeds of up to nearly 77 fpm and enhanced print resolution of 1,200 x 2,400 dpi, enabling sharper text, smoother gradients, and more accurate color reproduction across a wide range of label applications. Support for an expanded range of media and substrates gives converters greater flexibility to pursue new opportunities without compromising quality.

AccurioLabel 400
The AccurioLabel 400 is on display at LOUPE, as well. Konica Minolta is highlighting how converters can expand into higher-value label and packaging applications without sacrificing the flexibility demanded of digital production.
Engineered to minimize maintenance needs and maximize uptime, the AL400 can support a broader range of substrates and applications. The press pairs an optional fifth-color white toner station with automated color and registration controls. These capabilities help deliver high-quality output while maintaining efficiency. Demonstrations highlight how these capabilities help printers feel the potential of expanding their label offerings.
JETvarnish 3D Web 400
Plus, Konica Minolta is demonstrating the JETvarnish 3D Web 400. This illustrates how digital embellishment can transform labels and packaging through spot UV varnish and hot foil effects. The demonstrations showcase how printers can create premium, tactile applications without the tooling and setup requirements associated with traditional embellishment processes. Attendees can see examples of raised varnish, metallic effects and variable-data embellishment, showcasing how businesses can create more distinctive, higher-value applications.
Beyond Print: The Power of Embellishment
Demand for premium, attention-grabbing labels continues to grow. This makes embellishment an increasingly important part of the label production conversation. At LOUPE, Konica Minolta is highlighting how embellishment has evolved from a niche capability into a strategic business tool. Discussions focus on industry adoption trends, revenue opportunities, and the growing role embellishment plays in modern label production.
